The default color for Party Chat is the same as talking normally, which gets annoying when you say something in Party thinking you have it set to Talk. And until someone points out your apparent silence it's hard for you to know any better. Here's how to have colored party chat: 1) Open nwnplayer.ini in your NWN folder 2) add the line [Chat Colors] right at the top 3) and at the next line add PartyColor=104,147,225 The 3 numbers represent the RGB of the color you want, from 0-255. Kind of like MS Paint. The color I chose there is somewhat bluish, but you can change it to your preference. Save the file and start NWN. Your new party chat color should take effect. There are other chat colors you can change too. You can read more about this here: nwn.bioware.com/support/patchdetails125.html

I would like to thank you as well... never knew this was an option.
As a side the title made me think of a different subject matter - coloured language being used ;D

Windowed mode in nwn
1) Go to your NWN folder and open nwn.ini
2) Add the following lines under [Display Options]
FullScreen=0 AllowWindowedMode=1 Disable Intro Movies=1
so that it looks like
[Display Options] FullScreen=0 AllowWindowedMode=1 Disable Intro Movies=1 (buncha other stuff)
3) Save the file and close it.
4) Run NWN =)
Note that your NWN resolution must be smaller than your desktop resolution, ie if your desktop is running at 1024x768 then NWN should run at 800x600, otherwise the game still stays at fullscreen.

Oh Really? I wonder what that furry fiend is up to *Ponders about useless things that are not really worth pondering about or even worth wrighting this sentance, in fact why am I even doing this its not like I don't have any life or anything mabye I just need some kind of hobby to keep me from doing things like this to unsuspecting readers or mabye they like reading long rants like this in their spare time.*
Heh, I like these forums so much XD

Hey, i'm not a furry fiend! I'm a cute little wolf. (Lena calls me that at least) Thanks for letting me know, Cin. I think i'll give it a try. And Reaper, well, i wanted windowed mode because you always pop-up in MSN when i least expect it, and i want to see when you get on because, well, my speakers kinda exploded XD so i can't hear when you get on, however, i will buy new ones today! Thanks again, Cin.

Thanks again, Cin. "Cute"? You viciously bite and tear at everything that stands in your way as you rage down the battlefield causing pain and suffering to all your foes! Its just a good thing your on our side and not theirs! Furry Fiend stands and cute little wolf gets tossed away as a bad title
