WELCOME TO NETHERIA!
Are you tired of logging on to a Persistent World only to spend two hours figuring out how to get out of the starting city, then promptly getting smeared by an overly-powerful monster, only to be respawned in the Fugue Plane - whereby you get to get spend a couple more hours finding someone to rez you? Well, then Netheria was designed with you in mind. There is no Fugue Plane. There are no gigantic cities to navigate. There IS plenty of action, exploration and baddies to kill. The operative word here is FUN. Netheria is an attempt to create a world where a player can log on, quickly get the gist of what's going on, and literally jump into the action - all the while still retaining the feel of a persistent-style world.
Here's a list of features/systems implemented currently:
1. Persistent: Location/character saving Quest Journals Time Henchmen In-game Guild System 2. Custom XP scripts, tailored for easy leveling early on and bonuses for grouping 3. Party Loot Notification 4. Respawning monsters with 1000's of custom item drops 5. Drugs/addiction sysem (for a little added flavor) 6. Limited Life Torches 7. PC Scry (Displays an easy to read list of PCs AND their location) 8. Dropped item cleanup for areas 9. Player Guild System with claimable guildhalls 10. Portal-based navigation lets you get to the action quick! 11. Legendary Level System with newly added areas for players over 40th level 12. Subraces 13. "Omega" item enhancement Forge 14. Player-owned housing 15. PvP battleground

Update 12/13/06 has been sent. Update includes
- Fixed Occilus' number of attacks - Fixed Hydra despawning when spawned by DM - Changed the facing of the entrance in Plane of Storms: Hydra's Approach - Finally added gates to the crate room in VOR Complex Alpha - Removed Knockdown from Shadow Guards - Capped Omega Forge at lv23 and raised prices - Lowered item power across the board - Elemental Shield is back to 1d6 + 1 per level fire damage - Blade Thirst now +3ab and +1 damage per 4 Ranger levels. - Fixes Nexus Stone conversation on login.
Enjoy the mod without DC 127 Knockdowns and a much much much much greater selection of items that are actually worth using late game.
P.S. I haven't forgotten about the guides and spell change books. They're Coming Soon™
Edit: Couple of requests too. Can you rename the mod to "Realms of Netheria CEP2"? ie. remove the PW because it's pushing CEP2 out of the Module Name column on 800x600 and it's almost a given that the server is a PW since it's in PW Action anyway =p Change "0 ' Phunic's Server" to "0 ' Netheria CEP2" too. Finally I changed the module description so we can probably do away with the server description. I think it's too short to put anything worthwhile in there.
Now excuse me while I go faint somewhere.

Update 12/17/06 has been sent but PI is still out of town so don't count on it being up so soon =p
The impossible has happened.
I actually nerfed my own mobs this update.
Mob HPs in Plane of Storms and Plane of Shadows has been halved due to them being crit immune and taking too long to kill. HPs in Linoth and Botanica also dropped by 20%-ish to account for lower weapon damage. This is good news for casters too.
Resists in all LL areas have been cut and most, if not all mobs have been given a damage vulnerability of some kind. More good news for casters but also those gives you a reason to forge 2d12 elemental weapons or use Celurin weapons.
Shadow Evade is now a flat 20% conceal and 4AC pre-epic. Epic Shadowdancers get the conceal bumped up to 50%. Duration is 1 round per SD level.

The latest update's been sent. It's pretty big. Here's the list of updates:
* AI fixes and improvements - the AI uses stealth mode, Curse Song, Divine Might/Shield, Hide in Plain sight and all the other class abilities now, in preparation for my next area. * Added a character deleter to the Keep (finally =p)
WARNING: The character deleter has not been tested in multiplayer conditions. Please report any bugs/missing characters in the forums.
Balance changes:
* Disabled Improved Evasion and True Seeing on items. * Shadow Evade's concealment bonus is now 20% + 10% per 5 Shadowdancer levels up to 50% at Shadowdancer 15. AC bonus is 2AC + 1AC per 5 Shadowdancer levels up to 8AC at Shadowdancer 30. Duration is 10 rounds + 1 round per Shadowdancer level. However, it no longer stacks with itself. * Bigby's Interposing Hand is now -6AB * Darkness is 20% miss chance again. * True Seeing changed to Ultravision + See Invisibility, so it doesn't see through mundane hiding. * Find Traps will no longer disarm traps. * Implosion radius size increased, no longer adds +3 to DC. * Undeath's Eternal Foe lasts 1 turn/level, no longer gives +4AC. * Gust of Wind only blows clouds away, not giant walls of whirling blades, masses of black tentacles, giant spider webs... * Lay On Hands and Blackguard Inflict Critical Wounds recharge every 75 seconds now, down from 3 mins. * Assassin Ghostly Visage turns into Ethereal Visage at Assassin 7. * Invisibility Purge no longer affects allies.

Char deleter worked on 6 chars and others on account are uneffected, the deleted where differant races, genders and classes. Hope this helps
