I'm hosting the public release of Netheria and love it. However, I want to remove or disable the 'this item is beyond the server level limit' script. What kind of script is it (IE: on enter, on-spawn?) All my servers use the generic ILR setting, and I'd prefer sticking with the generic limits when developing new content.
Please advise. Thanks.

Nevermind. Found it.
I have do agree with some of the limitations, like True Seeing for eaxmple. However, some of the others are rediculous - especially in the light of a level 40 WITH custom gear that is only slightly higher than these limits still getting killed in seconds by a mob of 15+ enemies...all rated as 'impossible'. This wouldn't be annoying if it weren't for the fact that it said it was for players around lvl 40.
* Smites the builders with the DM Club of Play Testing *
If you say an area is for players of a certain level, either make that an accurate statement, or indicate a level range based on party size. A good example of this is S1 Tomb of Horrors. The auto-leveler there considers party size when determining player leveling recommendations. And I have to say, having played through it, the author tested this thoroughlly. His numbers/recommendations are dead on. It is still very challenging. You will go through some Heal potions and have a few deaths here and there, but you won't see massive spawns of 20 'impossible' enemies coming at you. That kind of attention to the play experience makes a module enjoyably challenging instead of annoyingly impossible.
* Smacks the builders with Bag of Common Sense +1 *
Now I'm going to have to go through and check out the monster spawns in these areas and see if I need to tweak the messages for the portals to indicate a more accurate level range for players.
Anyway...since this is all happening on the version I'm hosting, this probably ends my feedback posts here.

Obviously, I don't lurk around here anymore. I agree that the mod balance is a little out of whack, but hey we tried. Lots of folks still enjoyed it. Peace and good luck!

Of course, the easy fix of this would be just to delete the suitable level range of each realm, then it's kind of enter at your own risk and if the player gets swarmed by impossibles it's the players fault and not the builder. ;D

Well...as a workaround I tweaked the Item Nerf script and also added a custom shop with custom gear to help. It does make things a lot easier...but death is still very possible even for my lvl 54. : )
Also, in case I griped about anything in the mod before...I wans to say that I've found the documentation in the scripts to be EXCELLENT! It makes it VERY easy to tweak or comment-out the things I want to adjust/change.
Heh...Rooker has even dropped in a few times too.
Now...I need to figure out why the voice commands aren't working...Maybe I need Talus listener or something...
