Alright, so the name of the map set will need some work.
Of course, this is all going to have to be approved. But I started work on a possible, potential realm. And I'm going to need some help in lots of areas.
The premise is simple, and classic. Basic Dungeon Setup. Ziggurat style pyramid structure in the initial map, each level of which contains a maze-like, but rather linear crypt area. (used the rural tileset for the initial map, made the pyramid structure out of tiered, raised areas). You find yourself continually moving in and out of the crypt on each level, before moving up to the next. You will fight a minor boss on the top, for a key, that will enable you to enter the Sub-levels beneath the ziggurat (it will NOT be an inverted ziggurat!) where you will delve deper and deeper until you hit the final boss.
Now...
I've got the initial map as well as all the level maps, and a merchant tower done. All My doors work properly, and lead to the areas they are supposed to. Just going to crank out the sub-levels when I get home from work. I'll need some kind of merchant tag?? or so... as well as a little guidance as to how to stock my maps with the monsters of my choice. I won't need much direction, though, as I'll probably figure out most of it. But things like the XP scale, proper monster sets, what level I should aim this to be...
Of course, I am aiming towards this becoming an accepted realm in Netheria, and that will mean plenty of testing beforehand. Anyone up for an assist on this total noob's project?
